4. Ownership Architecture: The default ownership architecture is extractive, with the organization typically owning the user data, the predictive models, and the subsequent value generated. While the principle of “Ethical Transparency and User Control” gestures towards greater user rights, it does not fundamentally alter this ownership model. It stops short of defining ownership as a bundle of rights and responsibilities, such as granting users a stake in the value created from their data.

5. Design for Autonomy: This pattern is highly compatible with autonomous systems, as it is a direct application of AI and machine learning. It is designed to lower coordination overhead for the user by anticipating needs and automating decisions, thereby enabling a high degree of system autonomy in shaping the user experience.
